A lot of the time us females wear heels and after a few hours or even a few minutes are feet begin hurting in them. Its not always that the heel is to high dolls, maybe your shoe just really isn’t your right size. How do you know if your shoe is the size you need you ask? Well here’s how you can make sure you have the right size shoe.
- Trim your toe nails, slip on a pair of comfortable socks and put on your shoes. If your toes feel cramped or your pinky toes are sore or blistered after a day in your shoes, they are too small. It is important that you try on both regular and wide fitting shoes if you experience discomfort in your toes, as a wider pair of shoes will often make the difference.
- Walk around in your shoes a bit. If they slip and slide around, they are too big. Remember, shoes which are too big can be just as bad as shoes that aren’t big enough.
- Next, check that your heels are at least 1/4 inch from the back of your shoes when selecting heels or sandals. If your heel is right on the edge or hanging over, it is best to choose a half or full size larger.
Having on a pair of comfortable and correctly fitted shoes can make your day or night just that much more exciting or fun. Having the proper size shoe can also prevent not only future foot problems, but back, knee and hip problems as well. Buying a shoe just because you like the style is cool and all, but just make sure the shoe is the right size. And don’t be afraid to wear a stiletto, its not the height of the heel that causes the pain. The higher the heel the sexier the legs will look. But no matter what, make sure the shoe fits!
